Nigel is a Civil Engineer, Chartered Surveyor and Project Manager. He is an arbitrator, adjudicator, dispute board member and expert in delay analysis, project planning and quantum matters.

Nigel has over thirty five years management experience of construction projects in the UK, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Southern Atlantic. That experience includes project and commercial management of roads (at grade, underground and elevated), long-span bridges (suspension, cable stayed, glued segmental), tunnelling (hard and soft ground, using boring machines, jacking processes, manual excavation, drilling and blasting), pipelines onshore and offshore, power generation and distribution projects (nuclear, hydropower, gas and solid fuels, waste-to-energy), railways (high-speed main line, urban metro and light rail, depots signalling and M & E works), large buildings (airport terminals, powerhouses, commercial developments, sports stadia, hospitals), building services, telecommunications projects, water supply projects, wastewater treatment plants, off-shore oil platforms and large dams.  Nigel is particularly conversant with multi-disciplined projects (power stations, industrial buildings, airports, mass transit railways).

In addition to that experience, Nigel has extensive experience of delay analysis, disruption and additional payment claims and has given expert testimony to court and arbitration tribunals.

Nigel is an experienced adjudicator and is listed on FIDIC's President's List of Dispute Adjudicators and the ICE List of Dispute Board Members.
